Electronic signatures for legal teams

A signature is only as good as what you can prove about it later. Signclad publishes its whole evidence model - what is hashed, what is frozen, what is anchored, and how a third party checks it - so you can evaluate it rather than take it on faith.

What matters here

The revision is frozen at send
A manifest of every file hash, field, recipient, rule, and setting is hashed with SHA-256 the moment the document goes out. Nothing can change it afterwards, and each consent event cites that hash.
Consent is its own event
The signer consents to sign electronically, with the disclosure they saw recorded, before any field can be filled.
A hash chain, anchored daily
Each event carries the hash of the one before it, so a change anywhere breaks every hash after it. A scheduled job publishes a signed Merkle anchor over everything sealed in a UTC day, which lets a whole day of records be checked at once. Storage is versioned; Object Lock retention is not enabled, and the anchor is not filed with an external notary.
Anyone can verify it
A counterparty, an auditor, or a court uploads the PDF or pastes its hash at the public verification page and gets back the artifact match, the seal validity, the chain head, and the daily anchor covering it. No account required, and no third-party timestamp is claimed.
Machine-readable evidence
The audit JSON carries the full event chain, the manifest hash, and the hashes of both PDFs, signed as a detached JWS - not a screenshot of a table.
Signing order and reassignment
Counterparties sign in the order you set. Someone who is not the right signatory can pass it to whoever is, with a reason, recorded as an event.
On signature levels. Signclad produces simple electronic signatures under ESIGN, UETA, and eIDAS. It does not produce advanced or qualified electronic signatures, which require identity verification against a government document or a qualified certificate issued to the signer. Where a matter needs AES or QES, Signclad is the wrong tool and we will say so.
