The file you already have
Signclad takes PDF, DOCX and the other Office formats, images, and HTML. Word files convert with their layout intact rather than being re-flowed, and a PDF that already has form fields imports them as Signclad fields instead of flattening them away.

Fields can come from the document itself. Write
[sig|req|signer1]into your Word template and Signclad turns it into a required signature field for the first signer, then removes the tag from the output. - Several files, one document
- Attach as many files as an agreement needs. They concatenate in order and come back as one sealed PDF, with per-file copies in the download zip.
- A generated signature page
- Turn it on and Signclad appends a final page listing every signer with a signature field, a locked date, and a name, so an unprepared contract can still go out today.
Fields that ask the right question
Nine field types, each with the validation that stops a document coming back wrong.
- Signature and initials
- Drawn with a finger or a mouse, typed in a signature face, or uploaded as an image. The chosen mark is reused for the rest of the session.
- Date signed
- Fills itself the moment the signer commits, in the format you picked. Nobody can backdate it.
- Text
- Single line or multi-line, with validation for email, number, currency, phone, ZIP, SSN, EIN, or a regular expression you supply.
- Checkbox and checkbox group
- One box, or a group with a minimum and maximum number of selections enforced before the signer can finish.
- Dropdown
- A fixed list of options, with a default you can prefill through the API.
- Autofill
- Name, email, company, or title pulled from the recipient record so the signer does not retype what you already know.
- Attachment request
- The signer uploads a file — a licence, a voided check, a certificate — and it travels with the finished document.
However the signer needs to receive it
- The default. Your subject line, your message, your branding on Business and above.
- In person
- Hand your own device to the signer. The session is scoped to that recipient and closes when they finish.
- Embedded
- The signing view inside your own product, in an iframe, with your branding and your allowed domains.
- Template link
- A public URL anyone can open to start their own copy of a document.
What the signer sees

The recipient's side
The signer has no account and no reason to trust an unfamiliar page. That surface gets the same attention as the app.
- Fifteen languages — English, French, Spanish, German, Polish, Portuguese, Danish, Dutch, Italian, Russian, Swedish, Arabic, Greek, Turkish, and Slovak — with right-to-left layout for Arabic.
- Keyboard-only completion, labels on every field for screen readers, visible focus, and contrast that clears WCAG 2.2 AA in both light and dark. State is never carried by colour alone.
- Consent to sign electronically is recorded as its own event, with the disclosure the signer saw, before any field can be filled.
- Declining is a first-class action with a reason, not a dead end. So is reassigning to the right person when the document reached the wrong one.
